371 CANDIDATES INVITED AFTER THIRD EXPRESS ENTRY DRAW OF 2021
Canada held it’s third express entry draw of 2021, on the 20th of January and invited 374 candidates with a minimum score of 741 under the Provincial nominee program (PNP).
The Express Entry is one of the main gateways to Canada for those skilled workers looking for a Permanent Residence. The Canadian immigration plans to welcome over 110,000 immigrants between 2021-2023 under the Express entry every year. The Express Entry helps in managing the skilled worker applications under the following three programs: Federal skilled worker program, Federal skilled trades program, and Canadian Experience Class.
Under the Express Entry, the eligible candidates who are eligible under the aforementioned skilled worker programs can upload their profile onto IRCC’s website. A Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) based on their age, education, language skills, and work experience can be obtained.
Express Entry draws are held almost every fortnight and the invitation to apply for permanent residence is immediately sent out to the candidates with the highest CRS scores. This entitles them to go ahead and submit their application for a permanent residence to IRCC.
When the candidates receive an invitation through the Express Entry draws, it entitles them to an additional 600 CRS points. entitling them to the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). This doubles the guarantee that they will successfully receive an ITA for permanent residence.
The second gateway to PR in Canada is the PNP. Canada’s provinces and territories operate their individual immigrant selection systems through the PNP to welcome skilled newcomers who can help address their local labor market needs.
Canada eyes to welcome more immigrants between 2021-2023, which will help them to economically recover post-Covid.
